Salesforce has dropped the Agentforce prefix from most of its product names. Agentforce Sales is Sales Cloud again, Agentforce Service is Service Cloud, and the Headless 360 Platform is back to Salesforce Platform. The Agentforce name stays in use as the brand for Salesforce’s AI platform and agent portfolio.
Dreamforce 2026 also introduced several new names: SIforce (announced as AIforce and renamed on October 9), Claudeforce, Salesforce in Claude, Slackforce, Agentforce Coworker and Koa.

Dreamforce season means big announcements, and Salesforce rarely leaves San Francisco without renaming something. After twelve months of Agentforce on nearly every product label, the core clouds got their old names back, and a fresh batch of AI names moved into the headlines instead. With AI products arriving this quickly, the reshuffle looks like an effort to separate Salesforce’s AI-first products from the core platforms, which still carry AI capabilities of their own.
The tables below map each previous name to its current one, grouped by product family. Every row carries a status:
The reversal surfaced on September 14, 2026, the day before Dreamforce opened. The Information reported that Salesforce had restored older product names across its website. Roughly two dozen products had picked up the Agentforce prefix in October 2025.
Salesforce hasn’t issued a formal naming announcement. It also hasn’t said whether contracts, invoices and Help documentation will follow the website. Expect some pages to carry both names for a while.
A second change followed Dreamforce. On October 9, 2026, Benioff posted on X that AIforce is officially SIforce, a nod to the growing “super intelligence” conversation in AI. Salesforce Ben reported the rename on October 12 and noted that Salesforce hadn’t issued an official announcement or said whether the product itself will change.
These are some of Salesforce’s most widely used products, and all three are back to their familiar names. When you see Agentforce paired with them, as in Agentforce Sales or Agentforce Service, it generally refers to the AI agents and capabilities built into that product. Examples include field service agents that resolve cases on their own and sales agents that research accounts or nurture leads.
| Previous name | Current name | Status | What it is | Diabsolut |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Agentforce Sales | Sales Cloud | Confirmed | CRM for managing leads, accounts, opportunities, forecasts and the sales pipeline. | Core |
| Agentforce Service | Service Cloud | Confirmed | Customer service platform for cases, omni-channel support, knowledge and contact centers. | Core |

Most platform names held steady. The exception is Headless 360, which split in two: the platform is Salesforce Platform again, and the headless architecture is now the Headless Toolkit. Agentforce remains the name of Salesforce’s AI platform, and Agentforce 360 is the only product that kept the Agentforce prefix.

Revenue Cloud is back as the product name, covering pricing, quoting, contracting and billing on a single data model. Read Agentforce the same way here as with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud: it points to the AI capabilities inside the product.
| Previous name | Current name | Status | What it is | Diabsolut |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Agentforce Revenue Management (earlier: Revenue Lifecycle Management, Revenue Cloud Advanced) | Revenue Cloud | Confirmed | Quote-to-cash on the Salesforce Platform, covering product catalog, pricing, quoting, contracts and billing (Revenue Cloud Billing). | Growing |
| Salesforce CPQ | Salesforce CPQ | Unchanged | Salesforce's earlier quoting and pricing product, separate from Revenue Cloud. | Growing |
The most common mix-up in this family is treating Agentforce Marketing and Marketing Cloud Engagement as the same product. Agentforce Marketing was the umbrella name for the whole marketing family, and that umbrella is now Marketing Cloud. Marketing Cloud Engagement is one product inside the family, and its name never changed.

| Agentforce Commerce | Commerce Cloud | Confirmed | B2B and B2C ecommerce, including storefronts, order management and digital shopping experiences. | Partner-led |
Industry products are back to the familiar “Cloud” naming pattern. When Agentforce appears next to an industry name, it generally refers to agents built for that industry’s workflows, such as utility service requests or patient scheduling.
| Previous name | Current name | Status | What it is | Diabsolut |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Agentforce Energy & Utilities | Energy & Utilities Cloud | Confirmed | Customer service, billing integration and program management for utilities and energy providers. | Core |

This year’s additions share one idea: fewer tabs, more done. Salesforce is bringing its data and agents into the places your teams already spend their day, so people can ask a question, update a record or hand work to an agent without leaving the tool they’re in. The agents you’ve already built get easier to reach, and as your agent fleet grows, there’s new tooling to keep it governed and on budget.
All of these names are new to the Salesforce roster. Warning: a couple of them sound like twins, so read closely.
| Name | What it is | Status |
|---|---|---|
| SIforce (formerly AIforce) | An interface layer above Data 360, Customer 360 and Agentforce. It brings Salesforce data, workflows and permissions into Claude, Slack and other AI tools. Announced as AIforce on September 15, 2026, and renamed SIforce on October 9, 2026. | Reported |
| Claudeforce | The Salesforce and Anthropic partnership, announced August 26, 2026. It covers Claude inside Salesforce and Salesforce inside Claude. It isn't a product you can buy. | New |
| Salesforce in Claude | The first Claudeforce product: a plugin with 37 prebuilt sales skills, in open beta since September 15, 2026. Skills for service, marketing, commerce and industries, plus Tableau analytics, are planned. | New |

| Contentful | A headless content management system, now part of Salesforce's marketing lineup. | New |
The labels changed, and the products underneath them didn’t. Your Sales Cloud org runs the same objects, flows and reports it did before the rename. The questions that decide whether agents deliver value stay the same too: is your data ready, are your processes clear, and who governs what an agent is allowed to do.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Yes. Salesforce restored the Sales Cloud name in September 2026. Agentforce Sales now refers to the AI capabilities inside Sales Cloud.
No. Agentforce Marketing was the umbrella name for Salesforce’s marketing family, and that umbrella is now Marketing Cloud. Marketing Cloud Engagement is one product within the family, formerly ExactTarget, and its name didn’t change.
No. Agentforce remains the name of Salesforce’s AI platform and agent portfolio, and Agentforce 360 kept its name. Only the application names dropped the prefix.
It became two names. The platform is Salesforce Platform again, and the headless architecture is now called the Headless Toolkit.
Both. What people now call Agent Fabric is officially MuleSoft Agent Fabric. The short form is the common usage, and Salesforce plans to bring it into a broader AI Control Plane.
Claudeforce is the Salesforce and Anthropic partnership. Salesforce in Claude is its first product: a plugin with 37 prebuilt sales skills, in open beta since September 15, 2026.
SIforce is the interface layer Salesforce announced at Dreamforce 2026 as AIforce. It brings Salesforce data, workflows and permissions into AI tools such as Claude and Slack. Claudeforce, Slackforce and Agentforce Coworker launched as part of it. Benioff announced the rename to SIforce on October 9, 2026.
At first mention, use the current name with the former name in parentheses, for example “Sales Cloud (formerly Agentforce Sales).” Readers searching either name can then find you. After the first mention, the current name alone is enough. The same approach applies to the newest rename: “SIforce (formerly AIforce).” Salesforce hasn’t published a formal announcement of the change yet, so expect both names to appear in Salesforce materials and press coverage for a while.
Contracts and order forms are a different matter. Keep the product names on your existing agreements until your Salesforce account team confirms how they’ll appear at renewal. Salesforce Help documentation is still catching up, so some articles will show the Agentforce names for a while.
No. Certinia is a separate company, and its product names (PS Cloud, CS Cloud and FM Cloud) weren’t part of the Salesforce changes.
