Key Improvements

Less manual work every week — core enhancements are live, and the team reports doing less manual data entry

Staff now self-sufficient — trained on the new features and no longer dependent on Diabsolut for day-to-day troubleshooting

From reactive to proactive — YMCA E&C now drives the roadmap instead of just fixing what’s broken with diabsolut’s Boost Services

The Challenge

YMCA of Greater Toronto’s Employment and Community Services (YMCA E&C) runs a growing Salesforce environment across multiple programs. YMCA E&C was dealing with operational inefficiencies in its Salesforce environment that affected reporting reliability, data quality, and day-to-day process efficiency. The clearest issues in the project materials were missing or incomplete data, reporting challenges, and manual processes around touchpoint/contact handling. There was also added complexity around integration work because the client’s org structure appears to support multiple programs and may require different processes.

Pain Points

  • Reporting issues caused by data problems and missing field population
  • Missing carryover touchpoints in reporting
  • Manual effort around contact creation and touchpoint entry
  • A need for bulk upload processes instead of one-by-one updates
  • Integration complexity from an org structured across multiple programs

Requirements

  • Improve reporting accuracy and reliability
  • Correct data issues, including Account field population problems
  • Support bulk upload of touchpoints and contact creation
  • Set up or update integrations to support business processes
  • Centralize and better manage aggregate reporting data across the organization

The Solution

Diabsolut supported YMCA E&C through its Boost services engagement focused on Salesforce improvements, data remediation, reporting enablement, and roadmap support. Work completed or underway included a solution to track carryover touchpoints, fixes for Account field population issues, creation of report types, corrected data to resolve reporting issues, and proposed/building bulk upload solutions. The engagement also included integration support and roadmap planning for future phases.

The Results

A step toward a more connected organization: Updating the CSS program on Salesforce supported YMCA GT’s broader goal of bringing programs and departments onto a shared platform—making it easier to work together, share insights, and scale impact in support of their mission to strengthen communities and improve the lives of individuals and families across the Greater Toronto Area.

YMCA E&C now has a stronger Salesforce foundation for reporting, data quality, and operational efficiency, with Diabsolut Boost helping move the engagement from reactive support toward proactive roadmap ownership. Next on the roadmap are forecasting improvements, integration work, aggregate data initiatives, and longer-term exploration of Agentforce/AI readiness.

How the engagement changed things for YMCA E&C:

  • Core enhancements are live, and the team reports doing less manual data entry every week
  • Staff are trained on the new features and no longer depend on Diabsolut for day-to-day troubleshooting
  • Leadership now has a reliable data foundation to act on instead of second-guessing report accuracy
  • The reactive support model has shifted to proactive roadmap ownership, with YMCA E&C driving what comes next rather than just fixing what’s broken
