The Challenge

The maintenance and repair division of TD Synnex had a complex, manual billing structure involving order information, contract-based billing rules, and tax calculations by asset location. This led to a disconnect between Service Cloud cases, billing events, and project costs, making invoicing time-consuming and error-prone.

Diabsolut was selected to help simplify and streamline processes, leveraging their industry, finance, and business expertise to improve governance and cohesion.

The Solution

To automate manual tasks, Certinia Accounting and Billing Central were implemented and configured, handling billing events, order information, and invoicing. Avalara Tax was used for TD Synnex’s complex tax calculations, initially set up manually to ensure accuracy, and then automated with a custom developed system connector for tax needs, including credit notes and address validations.
